Are all of your cakes egg-free?
Yes. Every cake, cupcake, cookie and cake mix from Cakes by Ripal is made 100% without eggs. Egg-free is not a special option here; it is how everything is baked.
Do egg-free cakes taste different from regular cakes?
No. The recipes are developed specifically for egg-free baking, so the cakes are moist, tender and full of flavor. Most guests never guess there are no eggs.
Who are egg-free cakes good for?
Egg-free cakes suit vegetarian families, people who avoid eggs for religious or cultural reasons, and guests with egg allergies. They let everyone at the celebration share the same cake.
Are your cakes vegan or dairy-free?
The cakes are egg-free, which is not the same as vegan. If you need dairy-free or have other dietary needs, mention them in your inquiry and Ripal will tell you what is possible for your cake.
Where is Cakes by Ripal located, and what areas do you serve?
Cakes by Ripal is a by-appointment studio in New Berlin, Wisconsin, serving Greater Milwaukee and the Chicago area. Clients also come from across Wisconsin, including Madison and Appleton.
Do you deliver?
Cakes can be picked up from the New Berlin studio, or delivery can be arranged. Delivery options for your date and location are confirmed in your quote.
How far in advance should I order a custom cake?
For wedding cakes, reach out 2 to 3 months ahead. For birthdays, showers and parties, 2 to 3 weeks is ideal. Last-minute requests are accepted when the calendar allows.
What cake flavors do you offer?
Cake flavors are Vanilla, Chocolate, Orange, Lemon, Pineapple, Red Velvet, Marble and Funfetti. Fillings include Vanilla, Strawberry, Blueberry, Raspberry, Pineapple, Chocolate Mousse, Caramel, Cherry, Coffee, Oreo and Chai Tea. Frostings are Buttercream, Butter Whipped and Cream Cheese. All are egg-free.
How many people does each cake size serve?
A 6-inch cake serves 12 or more, an 8-inch cake serves 22 or more, and a 10-inch cake serves 35 or more. Cupcakes are sold by the dozen, with a minimum of one dozen per flavor. Tiered cakes are sized to your guest count.
How much does a custom cake cost?
Every cake is designed from scratch, so the price depends on the size, the number of tiers and the design details. Call, text or email for a consultation and you will receive a personal quote.
What kinds of cakes and treats do you make?
Wedding cakes, birthday cakes, baby shower and gender reveal cakes, anniversary cakes, sculpted 3D cakes, cupcakes, cake pops and hand-decorated cookies, including festive treats for occasions like Diwali.
Do you ship cakes?
Custom cakes are local only. The packaged egg-free cake mix is available for local pickup and delivery now, and nationwide shipping is coming soon.
